ZINEB AMMOUS, MD, FACMG • CLINICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL GENETICIST

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Ammous received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2009 and completed a medical genetics residency at the University of Miami in June 2013. She is board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics. Most recently, she completed a medical biochemical genetics fellowship at the University of Michigan in April 2024.

Dr. Ammous is the medical director of The Community Health Clinic’s newborn screening (NBS) follow-up program and also serves on Indiana's Perinatal Genetics and Genomics Committee (PGG) and its NBS subcommittee.

Dr. Ammous has expertise in treating rare genetic disorders and a compassionate heart for children and adults with special needs and their families. 

Dr. Ammous goes by Dr. Z. She lives in Goshen, IN with her husband and their son Abe. Together, they have traveled all around the globe and visited more than 60 countries. Dr. Ammous enjoys staying active, cooking, and learning new languages.
